Healing Process
EYEBROWS HEALING PROCESS
- Day 1: Press firmly every 15 min for 6 hours & constantly for the first hour. Clean 3x with products given then blot firmly dry. Use grain of rice or less THIN amount of ointment at bedtime.
- Day 2-3: Am/pm clean, blot dry, thin amount of ointment as instructed
- Day 4-7 : Am/pm ointment as needed
- No sun (wear hats)
- No sweating — any activity that causes to sweat including being outside too long on a hot day.
- No getting wet until healed- make showers very quick, take baths, dry shampoo days, angle the shower head downward to avoid the face.
- No skincare or makeup near the brows.
- Avoid retinols, glycolic acids, acne treatments near the brows even when healed.
- Sunscreen when healed!! (Supergoop unseen sunscreen is my favorite)

LIPS HEALING PROCESS
- Day 1 : Blot with damp cotton round every couple hours (4-6x), pat dry and use ointment
- Days 2-4 am/pm blot with damp cotton round, pat dry, ointment as needed
- Cut food up into small bites
- Always pat dry after cleaning or anywhere they could have gotten wet
- Don't get wet in the shower (same with brows)
- Don't stretch mouth open wide
- Avoid spicy, temp hot, salty, acidic foods while healing
- No sun until healed then sunscreen chapstick!!
- No kissing
- Pat dry after brushing teeth, relax mouth while brushing and careful not to open mouth too wide

LINER HEALING PROCESS
- Day 1 clean 3x with cleaning solution on a qtip, air dry, then dry well with a qtip. Ointment very thin
- Days 2-4 am/pm clean/air dry/ dry, ointment very thin
- No steam, water, sweating, sun until healed
- Don't pick!
- No makeup or skincare near the area
- Use ice in a bag and/or ibuprofen if needed for swelling
How to make your permanent makeup LAST & age gracefully:
- Follow your immediate aftercare instructions perfectly.
- Keep all retinol, acids, and exfoliators at least 1” away from your brows, always. The only exception to this rule is hyaluronic acid.
- Once you’re cleared to get out in the sun (14 days post-appointment, or once your brows are totally done peeling), always have broad spectrum sunscreen on them when you plan to be outside for more than 15mins.
While some factors are out of our control (health, medications, skin type…), following these 3 rules will definitely make a difference, and ensure the best results possible. But as always, you should expect to have your brows refreshed every 1-3 years either way!
